 (1) No.514 meeting

Date: April 27, 2007

Place: Kanto Gakuin University

Two technical papers were presented:

1.           High precision and high resolution global precipitation map from satellite data

2.           Safety driving system for pedestrian using RFID

 

(2) No.515 meeting

Date: May 17-18, 2007

Place: Kochi Green Hotel

This meeting was held under the co-sponsorship of the IEICE professional groups on AP. Four papers relevant to the field of URSI-F were presented:

1.           Evaluation of the near-field UWB transmission characteristics Using the MR-FDTD Method applied to the parallel computing 

2.           An experimental study for a fast and high-resolution 3-D imaging algorithm with linear array antennas for UWB pulse radars 

3.           Classification of terrain using the correlation coefficient in the circular polarization basis for the X-band Pi-SAR image

4.           The system for detection and visualization of a radio source
