Recent Research Topics / Facilities of the Lab / Life in the Lab / Research Partners / Study Guide for International Students
We study the wireless communications and the applied radio instrumentations. As well, we involve in the international development projects. Many different approaches are taken, such as fabrication and prototyping, field measurement, lab experiments, computer simulation, and field work.
We focus on the radiowave propagation for wireless communications. Many joint researches are ongoing with industry, research institutions, and other universities.

Recent research results are found on publication list.
Once a week (Monday, 9:30-13:00), we have a meeting to discuss the recent research results. This seminar is conducted in English.
From April until July, intensive lectures on antennas and propagation are given by Prof. Takada twice a week (Tuesday and Friday, 10:40-13:00). After the summer vacation, individual seminars shall be held for each of the study groups.
Individual research guidance and discussion are available based on the request from students at any time.
Mobile Communication Research Group iLaboratories of Prof. Hiroshi Suzuki, Prof. Kiyomichi Araki, Assoc. Prof. Kazuhiko Fukawa, Assoc. Prof. Hidekazu Murata, and Prof. Jun-ichi Takada) has the weekly joint seminar (Monday, 17:30-19:00). Recent topics of each individual lab are usually presented, and distinguished external lecturers are sometimes invited as well.
Topics related to the international development projects are all joint works with Prof. Shinobu Yume Yamaguchi of Global Scientific and Information Center.
We have the monthly party to foster closer relationship. When the party is held in the campus, we enjoy the tastes of students' own countries.
Both official and inofficial partners are listed in alphabetical order.
